Work Is Murder
No, this is not a rant against my job. I actually like what I do. It has its ups and downs, but so does everything else in life.
What is all about is the infograph below. Apparently (nothing new here actually) sitting 9 hours a day in the office on a chair will subtract years from your life...well, we die anyway. Might as well die happy. Or healthy? Or neither? :))
Anyways, here's the infograph.

Why The Movie Industry Is Bad For Innovation
A great infograph that speaks a lot of truth. Courtesy of Matador Network
The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) claims that SOPA and PIPA are aimed at stopping online piracy. But as this infographic demonstrates, it’s really about fighting innovation.

You already know my take on this. Any form of censorship is bad. People will always be offended by something. Heck, I'm offended by a lot of things. And many things are bad for me (from a personal point of view, obviously). Do I go around trying to interdict them just because I don't like'em? No.

Education By The Numbers
I am always awestruck at how much information can be conveyed with a simple infograph. I mean, you could spend hours or more searching for the stuff you need (actually that's what the people behind infographs are doing, no doubt) or you could get it all wrapped nicely in an infograph.
The latest one I discovered is about the state of Education around the Globe. Something I was always curious about but too lazy to do the research (lack of time is also presend, but like my sensei used to say, there's no such thing as I can't do it, just I don't want to).
So, kudos to the teachers who deserve it and to all the students as well.

The Euro Crisis
I’m taking advantage of The Economist‘s insight to give you this interactive map of the Euro Crisis. Maybe there are some that haven’t seen it yet.
Further analysis on my part will follow as soon as I have some time. At first sight, I can say that we shouldn’t blindly follow what statistics tell us, in some cases the situation is more dire or better than previewed.

Some Ideas For Your 2012 Social Media Plan
It's been a long time since I've posted anything than an infograph or video. So that makes me pretty nervous. :) Not.
I went through this presentation made by @radian6 and loved it so I decided it needs to be shared with more people. It's filled with good advice for both social media n00bs as well as more seasoned vets. Worth taking a look!

Geek vs Nerd
Yeah, I know I posted a similar infograph a while back but this one is a lot more comprehensive and accurate. And the result is I'm a nerd. :)
